Institutional Development Award (IDeA) program. KBRIN runs this meeting for NIH to build research capacities in states (like Kentucky) that historically have had low levels of NIH funding by supporting basic, clinical, and translational research; faculty development; and infrastructure improvements. KBRIN is the Kentucky Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network.
