Event Description
The past two years have been isolating for many science teachers in KY. Make plans to attend the Kentucky Science Teachers Association (KSTA) Virtual Conference February 25-26!  Check out the program matrix of session leaders and a line up of outstanding Vendors who will present during two 1 hour Vendor Showcases.  Learn about the latest science resources to support highly effective science teaching. 
 
Session presenters were hand selected so all will be high quality and provide resources to support highly effective science teaching and assessment. 
Published authors Lori Norton-Meir and Jody Bintz (Negotiating science: The critical role of argument in student inquiry, grades 5-10).
Kentucky’s own Trisha Shelton, Chief Learning Officer at the National Science Teaching Association
KDE Science Consultant Rae McEntyre will lead sessions and provide an update on the Science Standards Revision Process
Commissioner Jason Glass and former commissioner Stephen Pruitt will be on hand to extend their greeting and share a national and state perspective. They will both participate in an informal question and answer session on Day 1.
A Vendor Showcase will take place on both days where participants will engage with various curriculum resources to support KAS for Science implementation.

KSTA encourages you to purchase the $25 membership so you get not only the benefit of KSTA membership, but you can also attend the conference for less than the non-member price ($125 total w/ membership under Early Bird registration through 2/15).
