Event Description
This summer and fall, EKU's Center for Outdoor Education and Research is offering Wilderness First Aid courses, which result in WFA certification. Both are stand alone courses for the public, and the one in the fall could instead be taken as an EKU course for credit, EMC 480, and will also result in WFA certification.
Use this form to register. Space is limited, and your seat will be secured once we receive payment or confirmation that you’ve mailed a check. If you have questions before registering, email naturalareas@eku.edu or call 859-622-1476. Once registered, you will receive information about course logistics.
Upcoming Courses
July 11-12: Two days, in person on EKU's campus. Day 1 is classroom instruction, day 2 is outdoor scenarios at Taylor Fork Ecological Area. $300
August- October 1: Hybrid course with online content beginning in August and outdoor scenarios on October 1 at EKU Maywoods. $350
