A high school component for students from 9-12 grade has been incorporated for young scientists to present their posters at the hotel on Saturday morning.  Students will be recognized for scholarly achievements; however, they must be registered to participate.  The focus of this meeting is to provide a platform for graduate, undergraduate, and high school students to present scientific research findings from all STEM areas.

Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society is a 100-year-old organization, initially established at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, in 1921, but chartered in 1923.  The purpose of the organization is to encourage and advance scientific education through original investigation; the dissemination of scientific knowledge; and the stimulation of high scholarship in pure and applied sciences.  A common goal of Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society (BKX) and the National Institute of Science (NIS) is to increase the number of well-trained scientists by providing academic support and research activities.
