Event Description
The National Wildlife Federation will be wrapping up a year-long series of listening sessions at the end of May

The full list of sessions can be found here

The community listening sessions are free and open to everyone. The feedback from these sessions is helping inform a regional plan to restore and protect the waters of the Ohio River basin, which includes Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

The restoration and protection plan will be delivered to Congress and the Biden Administration in 2023. The goal is to get substantial new federal funding to protect and restore the waters that are vital to our drinking water, public health, jobs, and quality of life. Please share this with your colleagues and friends, and, if you have not attended one yourself, please consider attending one and participating. The full list of sessions can be found here.
