Join this FREE webinar to get an introduction to the RockWorks product from RockWare Incorporated. RockWorks is designed to manage, model, and display geologic data for a variety of applications including environmental, hydrogeological, geotechnical, mining, petroleum, and research.  During this webinar, an expert from the RockWare software development team will demo RockWorks, one of their most widely used software products. The audience will gain insight into this software, broadening their exposure and increasing their technical knowledge on available geoscience software tools. The webinar will conclude with an audience Q&A session.
Moderator Bio: Hannah Weaver
Hannah Weaver, ECP-1014, is a Physical Scientist and Financial Assistance Officer Representative for the Orphaned Wells Program Office (OWPO) in the Department of the Interior. She received her B.S. in Geology in 2019 from Wittenberg University and her M.S. in Geology and Geophysics in 2021 from Purdue University. In her current role in OWPO, she serves as a program officer for federal grants for orphaned well site plugging and remediation projects. Her experience includes near surface and exploration geophysics, subsurface geologic modeling, and well analysis and plugging evaluation. She works remotely for OWPO and resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Speaker Bio:  Jim Reed
Jim Reed, is a Geologist/programmer with RockWare, a geological software company based in Golden, Colorado. Jim received a B.S. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1976. He began his career as a research assistant for the NASA Mars Viking project while working as a resource estimator for Arch Coal company. He then served as a project geologist for Freeport Exploration (copper & gold), a regional geologist for AMAX Exploration (molybdenum), and Wold Minerals Exploration (uranium & talc). In 1983, Jim founded RockWare where he now works as a software developer, project consultant, and trainer.
