Event Description

 If you are interested in gaining the skills and knowledge to administer wilderness first aid and become WFA certified or need to be recertified, the EKU Division of Natural Areas and Center for Outdoor and Wilderness Public Safety have two upcoming training courses. Both are two days, in person with a course cost of $300.  The May course will be held on EKU’s campus, and the July course at Natural Bridge State Resort Park.
 
Wilderness first aid is the assessment of and treatment of an ill or injured person in a remote environment where care by a health care professional and/or rapid transport are not readily available.
