Kentucky science event

The Geological Society of Kentucky wishes to extend an invitation to you to join us on Friday, September 6, 2024, for our Annual Meeting. This year's host site for the meeting is Natural Bridge State Resort Park. The following day, Saturday, September 7, 2024, we will be spending the day observing and learning about the newly exposed geological features found in the fresh roadcuts  between Campton and Salyersville, Kentucky, resulting from the highway improvement efforts along the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway. We are fortunate to have as our field trip leaders Dr.'s Stephen Greb and Cortland Eble, both with the Kentucky Geological Survey.
