Event Description
If you’re interested in gaining the skills and knowledge to administer wilderness first aid and become WFA certified or need to be recertified, the EKU Division of Natural Areas and Center for Wilderness & Outdoor Public Safety have an upcoming two-day, traditional course with outdoor scenarios at EKU Maywoods on May 30-31, 2025. The cost is $300. Overnight accommodations are provided as needed.
Wilderness first aid is the assessment and treatment of an ill or injured person in a remote environment where care by a health care professional and/or rapid transport are not readily available.
