Join this FREE webinar to get an introduction to the Environmental Simulations Inc. suite of software products. ESI specializes in and creates  software for groundwater modeling and aquifer test analysis. During this webinar, an expert from the ESI software development team will demo their most widely used software products, Groundwater Vistas and AquiferWin32. The audience will gain insight into these software, broadening their exposure and increasing their technical knowledge on available geoscience software tools. The webinar will conclude with an audience Q&A session.

Moderator Bio: Hannah Weaver

Hannah Weaver, ECP-1014, is a Physical Scientist and Financial Assistance Officer Representative for the Orphaned Wells Program Office (OWPO) in the Department of the Interior. She received her B.S. in Geology in 2019 from Wittenberg University and her M.S. in Geology and Geophysics in 2021 from Purdue University. In her current role in OWPO, she serves as a program officer for federal grants for orphaned well site plugging and remediation projects. Her experience includes near surface and exploration geophysics, subsurface geologic modeling, and well analysis and plugging evaluation. She works remotely for OWPO and resides in Columbus, OH.

Speaker Bio: James O. Rumbaugh, III

Jim Rumbaugh is President of Environmental Simulations, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in consulting, software development, and training in groundwater modeling. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University and a Masters from Penn State, both in geology. Jim has over 40 years of experience in consulting, primarily in the application of groundwater models to a wide range of water resource investigations. He is co-author of the Groundwater Vistas software and provides numerous training courses each year on groundwater modeling. He also is Technical Director of Pennsylvania FIRST Robotics, a non-profit organization which holds numerous robotics competitions for high school students from September through March each year.
