Event Description
The Kentucky Public Service Commission is currently studying nuclear energy, as directed by our state legislature in Senate Joint Resolution 140, and to further this study we are holding a nuclear conference on May 12 & 13 at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort. We have invited experts from across the country to discuss various aspects of nuclear energy generation, including technology advancements, financing projects, environmental concerns, regulatory considerations, waste disposal issues, and community engagement.
Registration is free on Eventbrite and the website includes the full agenda. The venue will only accommodate 200, so if you do would like to attend, please register as space is very limited. Make sure to register for both days. The registration link is below.

The PSC is an independent agency attached for administrative purposes to the Energy and Environment Cabinet. It regulates more than 1,100 gas, water, sewer, electric and telecommunication utilities operating in Kentucky and has approximately 90 employees.
