Wetlands Management Micro-Credential

NKU Research & Education Field Station is now offering a Wetlands Management Micro-credential that will provide professionals, students, and anyone interested the knowledge to identify wetland plants, assess wetlands biodiversity, and learn wetlands delineation and monitoring through investigation of critical areas. These professional short courses will cover criterial and reporting for the Eastern Mountain Piedmont region as well as the Midwest. Two required courses (Wetland Plant Identification and Wetlands Delineation) and one elective course are all that are needed to acquire the micro-credential and demonstrate your mastery of field skills and competencies, which is professionally invaluable to not only you, but also to your employer. 2019 courses at NKU REFS include:

- June 13, 2019 – Introduction to Wetlands (1 day, $200)
- July 15-17, 2019 – Wetlands Plant Identification (3 days, $775)
- August 5-9, 2019 – Wetlands Delineation (5 days, $1100)
- September 18-20, 2019 – Invasive Species Management (3 days, $700)
