Description:
The Living Arts & Science Center is hosting our first space camp this year! The event will be held on our campus in downtown Lexington on October 4th and 5th from 8am-6pm. We are partnering with Higher Orbits to submit an experiment that will be sent to the International Space Station, and the camp is open to students from 8th-12th grade. They will meet an astronaut and other experts from NASA while they are working with real space science equipment!
The LASC is offering scholarships and Higher Orbits is offering a "pay what you can" special for students who register by September 7th. Attached is a brochure with all of this info, if any students are interested please pass along my contact info!
