Kentucky Academy of Science

KAS has travel funding for K-12 teachers to actively participate as a field assistant or an up-close observer of relevant, real-world research addressing climate resilience in Kentucky. Scientists will host a teacher for just one day or longer, whether at a Kentucky Field Station, a laboratory, a climate research site, or elsewhere. Researchers are studying weather, water, paleontology, geology, flooding, landslides, social resilience, and more. Researchers are located all over Kentucky, See projects and researchers here
