Call for Special Session Proposals


KAS Annual Meeting
November 21-22, 2025 
University of Louisville

 

The Kentucky Academy of Science is requesting your proposals for special sessions at the KAS Annual Meeting this November.  We cannot promise you any particular time slot in the program but if you have restrictions we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Special Sessions Should be cross-disciplinary, 2-3 hours long
Please submit a 250-word description

Please list a minimum of 3 presenters. Abstract submissions will also be open and presenters can submit into your session if approved. Presentations may be 15 minutes or longer. Special sessions may also be appropriate content for a Theme issue of the Journal of the KAS.

Please submit your Special Session proposal by August 15

Meeting Registration and Abstract Submission opens September 1
Abstract Submission deadline is October 13
